A New Epic! - 2013 TBC

This is a great opportunity to ride some of the Scottish roads that helped to develop Robert into the world famous professional cyclist that he became - the renowned Tak me Doon Road (Kilsyth - Lennoxtown), arguably the most demanding climb in central Scotland & the notorious Crow Road.

The main 95 mile route is not for the faint hearted but there is also a shorter 46 mile course, both of which travel along some of the most scenic roads in Scotland. It is intended that the Sportive will provide the showcase event for East Dunbartonshire Council's Get Active Month (May). Riders will be set off in groups from 8am, from Civic Way, Kirkintilloch (beside Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre, Woodhead Park, G66 3DD - event HQ).
