GWCC Presentation Dinner 2009Friday 6th November
Special Guest Richard Moore
Once again the Wheelers hosted the annual Presentation Dinner to round off one of the most successful recent seasons. Club participation in national events has hit a decade high with our most notable successes coming from our young Development Squad of future talent.
Our Special Guest, Richard Moore gave a fantastic speech with a following Q&A session. In addition to sharing his views on the state of the pro peleton he came bearing the gift of a signed autobiography from Chris Hoy, the main subject of Richard's extremely successful book Heroes Villains & Velodromes. This was auctioned off and bought by Billy Munro for the princely sum of £100!
With over 70 guests attending this was the biggest turn out in years with the band pleased to play to a filled dance floor.
